We honor and celebrate his 100th birthday in heaven
Today, our founder René E. Francovigh would have celebrated his centenary leaving behind an enduring legacy of effort, perseverance, and passion for industry.
"It fills me with great pride to see that my descendants are interested in continuing this family tradition that is now approaching seven decades of history.
I always tell my grandchildren that I am a wise man, so they will want to imitate me. Then I clarify that I am only a little wise. Mine was not a wisdom born from school… it was a wisdom forged through effort and perseverance. I started at a very young age and managed to build a company recognized in Argentina and the region. I also built a beautiful family, and I never neglected my community. If I could do it… others can too.
We live in a very rich country, and there is no need to leave it. I am certain of that. The hardships Europe is going through are the result of having lost that culture of work. Europe was once poor, which is why my parents came to Argentina. Without work, there are no possibilities for progress. With effort, everything is achievable.
In the year 2000, during our most difficult time, I wrote a book titled 'In Argentina, it is also possible'... thinking that better times would come. We must have faith in our country."
